all this time
the sun never says to the earth

look
what happens
with a love like that
it lights the
Whole
Sky.

  2. I feel you, my Sister! I remember the first day of the Free Our People March. We were marching in the rain through a residential area in Philadelphia. People were standing on their front stoops gawking. I heard a lady loudly ask her neighbor, “where are their babysitters?” I could only shake my head in disgust. I did yell out that we were marching all the way to Washington, DC to raise awareness about MiCASSA. The lady was dumbfounded! She did not believe that we could do anything on our own. She was amazed
